Boobies!

Breast to Impress
Breast Cancer Fashion Show @ the Shaker Room
San Diego 9.20.7

We went out to show our support for Keep A Breast.
Our friend modeled and James even donated his time to cover the event. The event was sponsored by Roxy and we got the cutest rubber wristbands. I usually wouldn't wear one of those "awareness" wristbands, but this is a cause I genuinely support.
Each model wore an remade Keep A Breast shirt designed by a guest designer.
I would really to be more proactive in these types of events in the future.

Twelve by Twelve Debuted Today!

I love fashion.

I love Vintage, Designer Clothing and I love Forever 21. Before I went "Back-to-School," I would indulge myself, however this life change has caused me to pinch my purse stings. So I find my pretty things, my cheap thrills, my guilty pleasures at Forever 21, Target (via select "Go Collections") and Topshop. Even with our severely depressingly DEPRESSED dollar Topshop is still a more than sastisfactory alternative to almost anything else that is full-priced "Designer."
Perhaps in the back of my mind I expected "Twelve by Twelve" to be as equally lux as the fashion forward fabulous Topshop, but alas ....

The new line will do well. The dress I have featured in this blog is already sold out in size small. Perhaps in the future it will grow and develop into something greater. I also hope they stop using so much synthetic fabric.

In short: it's a nice line with decent prices.

"Twelve By Twelve is priced about thirty-five percent higher than Forever 21’s usual ensemble, but each piece will cost less than $100." - Style Crunch

I think its supposed to be geared to 30-somethings but I personally think the demographic is closer to 18-35 year-olds.

What I want for my Birthday

I love both, but maybe the black ones are more practical?*
Does anyone else remember back-in-the-day when Steve Madden was gross like Sketchers?
Now its like Shoe Crack for Fashion Addicts (like me.)
BTW I am size 5.5 - 6 in US Women's ;)

*They look much better on with the right oulfit and not witchy at all.

2.5

I only have approx. 2.5 more weeks of school left. These are some shots of me "modeling" for Kayla's Portfolio.

Hair, Makeup, Photography: Kayla Poehner

Model, Stylist: Erika Viereck

Sunglasses: Chloe, Shirt: Luella for Target, Jeans: Levi's, Shoes: Marc Jacobs.

Diana

I want you.

LOEFFLER RANDALL for Target is going to suck

I HATE pleather. The only way I would feel better is if they reissued their Skull Cutout flats at a reasonable price. *sigh*

I once did a "Hip Hop" Fashion Show

A long while back. It was presented by Miss Kat. The last three designs are by Miss Kat, I believe.
I did it on a whim and asked my friends to model. We had a great time drinking champagne in our private green room. Good times. To see my more of my clothes modeled by "real" models go to www.blackheartbunny.com

Beauty School Memories

Biba is the New Black

"Glamour doesn't come much more seductive than this! Infusing 1940's inspired Biba-style with the sirens of Studio 54, the smouldering effect is our new limited edition Halston Collection.
Unleashing a combination of tailored trousers and coats with silky, slinky blouses and dresses, Halston sees the return of vintage-style allure. High waistlines and maxi lengths create a long lean silhouette, while plunging necklines and balloon sleeves add a glamorous groomed appeal. Experiment with slinky pussy-bow blouses tucked into high waisted, wide-leg tweed trousers, topped off with a sequined beanie, or waist a chic art-deco belt over a glistening tea dress and balloon sleeved woolen coat for the ultimate 40's style silhouette. Now simply slip on some polished platforms and start practicing your red-lipped pout."
This Topshop Collection is now sold out, none the less it is a very inspiring over all look for fall. It is interesting that they named the collection Halston since I heard (from this months Teen Vogue) the fashion powers that be were going to resurrect the Halston brand with famed celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe at the helm.

DangerDanger Airport Lounge San Diego 9.15.7

I had never been to the Airport Lounge before but some of our friends where there on duty, including James. The decor is cute and it definitely feels like a romanticized version of a 60's airport. You can see planes flying very closely from the outdoor area, which really ads to the intended ambiance. The the crowd was eclectic, varying in generations, dress, attractiveness, etc. Its seems quite a few people head there after working their office jobs. Not the crowd we typically see when we go out.

Highlight of the evening: Salt N Pepa: Push It.

Oooh, baby, baby

Baby, baby

14 American Apparel Models Freed In Daring Midnight Raid

LOS ANGELES—"There were girls everywhere," FBI agent Curtis Froman said. "Draped over furniture, sprawled spread-eagled in the corner, and huddled close like animals."
